Leamon Abrams

Leamon Abrams is Program Manager at The Allen Group, a San Francisco Bay Area-based project and construction management firm specializing in transportation, aviation, and infrastructure. He brings more than 30 years of experience in economic development, workforce development, public policy, and small business development. His career spans both the private and public sectors, including leadership roles with companies such as Starbucks and Bechtel and serving as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development for the City and County of San Francisco.

Abrams is a strong advocate for expanding pathways into the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and STEM careers, connecting emerging talent with opportunities in the infrastructure economy. He brings to the Growth Sector board extensiveexperience at the intersection of industry, policy, government, education, and workforce development.
