Growth Sector hosted its first annual staff retreat in March. The team convened at Growth Sector headquarters in San Francisco, CA bringing staff from all over the country together for planned sessions. The 2 day retreat gave an opportunity for Growth Sector executive staff to come together for a year in review, program and organizational goal setting, and discussions for expansion. In addition to sessions focused on strategic planning, the Growth Sector staff was able to incorporate much-needed staff bonding, particularly important with the addition of staff over the last year. Overall, the retreat, and associated discussions, resulted in a doubling-down of Growth Sector’s commitment to supporting students in their journey to engineering and computer science degrees and careers.
Growth Sector will bring the full STEM Core network (inclusive of campus staff, employer partners and foundation) together in May for the annual convening being held in Boulder, C0
