LOS ANGELES, CA - August 13, 2026 - Growth Sector, in partnership with California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA), hosted its second annual Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Pathway (EDAP) Showcase, bringing together 120 community college students, educators, engineering interns and industry leaders to demonstrate a new pathway from community college to a Bachelor of Science degree and engineering career.
The event welcomed Summer Bridge students from Los Angeles City College (LACC), East Los Angeles College (ELAC), Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) and Glendale Community College (GCC), alongside approximately 31 current EDAP engineering interns at Cal State LA and representatives from Caltrans, (Anthony Ng., Principal Transportation Engineer) and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP / Mario Morales, Utility Administrator).
